Trevirket vi bruker er furu fra skandinavia. Denne er saktevoksende, noe som gjør stolpene spesielt sterke og holdbare.

We are happy to announce the cooperation with Banham Zoo, located in Norfolk, UK. Banham Zoo opened a new Tiger Territory enrichment platform for Amur tigers, made possible by the support of UK Power Networks, Scanpole, and MKM Building Supplies. The project, with a total value of £27,000, was fully donated by partners and marks the official launch of ZSEA’s new corporate partnership programme, as part of the Together for Wildlife campaign.

Scanpole donated specially crafted untreated utility poles for the project and MKM Building Supplies provided the labour, materials, and equipment needed for construction.

The new platform enhances the habitat for Amur tigers – Mishka and her two sons, Kash and Kumi – part of the European Breeding Programme for this critically endangered species.

Norways largest network company, Elvia AS, has been our partner for years. Elvia manages Norways largest grid area, covering a total of approximately 50,000 km2. In practice, Elvia is responsible for ensuring that nearly two million people in Oslo, Innlandet, Akershus and Østfold areas have electricity in their sockets.

At Elvia, our new Pole+ poles have been received very positively. Production manager of Elvia, Leif-Joar Stakeng tells:
“We have been working with Scanpole for over 20 years. Scanpole is a reliable partner that delivers high-quality poles. The lifespan of copper oil-impregnated poles is roughly the same as creosote poles. They are NTR-certified and the impregnating agents are approved,”

We thank Elvia for the smooth cooperation over the years!
