Scanpole – a leading producer of wooden poles in Europe with excellence in timber preservation.
We want to ensure that people across the world have access to quality materials for their infrastructures. Our long-lasting poles are used in electrical grids, lighting networks and other infrastructure projects on all continents.
We provide premium quality fencing posts for a wide range of agricultural and equestrian use.
Our high quality timber comes from certified northern European forests where pine trees grow slowly, making wood exceptionally strong.
This year, we have donated the funds reserved for Christmas gifts to charity.
In the UK, the donations go to the charity organizations St. Davids Foundation (@stdavids79), which provides palliative care in the Newport area, and British Heart Foundation , which is the biggest independent funder of research into cardiovascular disease in the UK.
In Finland, we have made donations to the Pelastakaa Lapset (Save the Children) is the world’s leading independent child organization and a professional in child protection.
In Ireland, we have supported the Senior Citizen's Christmas Party in the village of Kill near our factory and also made a donation to the Kill Tidy Towns association.
In Norway, the donations have been received by two volunteer organizations, Gruehjelpa and Stange Røde Kors, which do local social work. Gruehjelpa focuses on helping families with children in difficult financial situations in the municipality of Grue, and Stange Røde Kors does volunteer work, for example, with immigrants in the Stange area.
In Sweden, we have supported the Barncancerfonden, Which fights against childhood cancer and provides care and support to affected children.
