Iivari Mononen starts a sawmill business in Ilomantsi, Finland.

1952

The first patch of 800 poles is sold to United Kingdom. Establishment of Timber Company I. Mononen

1991

Höljäkkä impregnation plant in Nurmes, Finland, becomes part of the group.

2004

Acquistion of FinnForest Ltd's pole business.

2011

Acquisition of Scanpole pole business in Norway and Sweden.

2015

Scanpole becomes the parent company of the pole business.

2015

Acquisition of Burt Boulton Haywood Ltd, Newport, Wales. Burt Boulton Haywood is one of the oldest timber impregnators in the United Kingdom, established 1848.

2016

Acquistion of Finn-Pylväs Oy's pole business.

2020

Scanpole Ltd. is established in Newport, Wales.

2024

Acquisition of PDM Timber Treatment Ltd, Kilteel, Ireland. PDM is one of the largest manufacturers of treated timber in Ireland.

Acquistion of Ab Påras Oy's pole business.
